ERWIN SCHMEIDA
The family of Erwin Schmeida announce his passing on Friday, September 2, 2022, at age 81.
Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Juanita; children, Quentin (Riza), Jennifer (Ryan), and Yvonne (Terence); grandchildren, Wyle, Runa and Hellayna.
Born in Germany, Erwin accomplished his dream of moving to Canada in 1968, raising a family, and enjoying the great outdoors. He loved to fish, and built his own cabin at Lac Du Bonnet. A true renaissance man, Erwin will be fondly remembered.
Lamay will be on Sunday, September 11, 2022 between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 784 Keewatin St.
